BSSTREAT*001×7 is a cation exchange resin with sulfonic acid groups (-SO3H) cross-linked to a 7% styrene-divenylbenzene copolymer. After purification and impurity removal, it is primarily used for water softening and pure water production in industries such as boiler water, industrial pure water, food, and drinking water. It also finds applications in hydrometallurgy, sugar refining, pharmaceuticals, and monosodium glutamate (MSG) production, as well as serving as a catalyst and dehydrating agent.

• Selective adsorption: it has strong selectivity for calcium and magnesium ions, and can preferentially adsorb target ions in complex aqueous solutions.
• Easy regeneration: the exchange capacity can be restored through NaCl regeneration solution to reduce the long-term use cost.
• Particle size and distribution: The particle size is concentrated in 0.3-1.2mm, and more than 95% are 0.4-0.6mm, ensuring good filling performance and fluid mechanical properties.
