Product Description and Usage
BSTREAT * 881BR2 is a non oxidizing bactericide registered by EPA, used for cleaning reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) membrane systems. BSTREAT * 881BR2 is continuously added to the system inlet water. Combining with other cleaning formulas provided by Sop Chemical can improve cleaning effectiveness and reduce cleaning frequency.
Application
881BR2 is limited to industrial applications and cannot be used for membrane systems to permeate water for human or animal use. Under neutral pH and ambient temperature of 25 ℃, 881BR2 exhibits a half-life of approximately 3 months. If necessary, 20-40ppm sodium bisulfite can be added to rapidly degrade the active ingredients in 881BR2.
Dosing and usage requirements
The typical dosage is 1-15mg/L (directly added to the influent). The specific value depends on the quality of the incoming water and the severity of biological pollution. Your representative from Sop Chemical Company will assist you in optimizing the addition amount based on the application.
